We are approaching the end of the transition period, preparing Great Britain to leave the European Union. The Brexit is scheduled on 1 January 2021.
How will the situation of British Shareholders or Members of the Management or Supervisory Board of companies running business in Poland change?
The negotiation process is still going. Only the agreement between the UK and the EU will determine the situation of companies operating in Poland. A probable scenario may turn out to be the necessity of treating British citizens on general principles related to employment of foreigners – British MB Members will need work permits to perform their functions. However, it is still uncertain how Brexit will translate into the position of shareholders and board members.
Our Law Firm will follow the stages of negotiations and inform about the solutions necessary for implementation in your company!
